This week’s puzzle is a beginner level puzzle.  I am looking for more puzzles at this, and slightly more difficult levels.  Please contact me if you would like to contribute.  Also, feel free to contact me if you have alternate solutions to the puzzles, questions, or just want to say hello.

Hmm, this file actually convinced me that Toby had a good point when he complained that Pentobi shows a message dialog when a color has no more moves. It is annoying that you repeatedly get these messages when you try to enter different move sequences for red to find the solution of this puzzle. I guess I will have to change this in a future version of Pentobi.

On another unrelated point: it would be really nice if you could click on the puzzle file and have it opened with Pentobi without having to save it first. Unfortunately this does not work even if Pentobi is locally registered as a handler for blksgf files because the web server does not send the correct MIME type. I described in the blksgf file format decumentation on Pentobi’s website how to add a .htaccess file to tell the web server to send the correct MIME type. But I am not sure if .htaccess files are supported by Dropbox.

I took a quick look, and either you’re right that it can’t be done with dropbox, or it is too hard for me at the moment. When I have some more time I will take an in-depth look and see if I can it figured out, but for the next few weeks (at least) I will be busy. Still, this is a good idea, thanks!
