It has come to my attention that many of the problems I have posted so far are “expert-level” problems. While many of the people who currently read this blog are experts looking for a challenge, I would like to think there are lots of non-experts reading this blog (feel free to leave comments if you are to let me know what you’d like to see), and my main purpose for this blog is to have beginner strategy available. So, starting next week, I will be trying to post some simpler problems (especially problems where you don’t need to play the moves of the opponent). If you have such a problem, and would like to see it posted, please send it my way.
This is really TWO puzzles – one for blue, the other for green.
I had to try it several times before I got to the “1 point win” –
on the earlier tries it was 5, 6, or even 10 points win
if green did not play optimally.
